Meet Kyle Mahoney
Kyle has worked in the insurance and financial business since 2006.
He started Mahoney Insurance Company with the goal of providing sound advice and answers to his clients. Kyle began primarily in the senior market and expanded his career in 2011 when he became a Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed. Since then his practice has grown steadily and he has enjoyed all the relationships that have been created with his clients. Kyle is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa’s College of Business. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys biking, golfing, boating, snow sports, and spending time with his family.
Meet Marie Mahoney
Marie is from a large family in Northeast Iowa and she has been living in Solon for 30 years. She and her husband, Al, have been married for 42 years and have raised four children. They now have 12 grandchildren, all of which live close by. Before Marie found herself with Mahoney Insurance Co., she was a school secretary, designed houses, and provided daycare for her grandchildren.
Meet Nicolette Abbondandelo
Nicolette is from a small town in Nebraska and has lived in Iowa for a little over four years. Before moving to Iowa, Nicolette went to school in Los Angeles to become a makeup artist, which she still does today. In her free time she likes to hike, create art through jewelry making, attend live music shows, and dance. Nicolette’s favorite part of insurance is Medicare and being able to provide simplified information to Mahoney Insurance Company’s clients.
Meet Kristy Rekers
Kristy is originally from California, lived in the mountains of Colorado for 14 years then made her way to Iowa to raise her 2 boys, which is where her husband was raised. She has been a licensed agent since 2014, first working with property, casualty and life insurance, and joined the Mahoney Insurance team in 2022. She appreciates the education factor of Medicare/Health Insurance and strives to help each client understand what their coverage is. In her free time, Kristy enjoys riding horses, hiking, kayaking, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
